Yea, the cognitive dissonance among some 'progressives' is so weird- they would totally accept sex work / sugar situations between 18 y/o and 53 y/o people, but not vanilla/traditional dating. (I have no problem with sugar dating, for the record, just think it's interesting). I have posted before about my affection for the dinner date M&G. Sure, many don't work out, but worst case I get to try a new restaurant and meet a new person. I recently connected with a fun new POT. Great messaging banter. We smoothly coordinate a date within a few days. Everything we hope for in a new connection.

- I was like 'WTF is Sugar Tinder?' And had to read comments before finding out it was just regular Tinder but with sugar topics. I have never used Tinder, however it is mostly a vanilla site. People are on here griping about how SA has turned in to Tinder / vanilla dating site, and yet it seems Tinder is turning in to a sugar dating site.
- The idea of sugar dating diminishes society, because it encourages young girls to believe that a 'job' is simply having sex with old men and making $3k+ a month. Sugar dating can destroy relationships. What's more confusing to me is seeing sugar babies that have vanilla boyfriends and sugar daddies that have wives.

I just started dating a girl in Jersey and don't want to make her come into the city every time we want to meet up. I offered to come out to Jersey and meet her. She lives near Somerset. I have no car so I'll be relying on NJT to get out there where she can pick me up in her car and we can go somewhere from there.

What I'm looking for are date ideas. Especially good restaurants as well as other options. Something toward her area and maybe out to Princeton Junction as she says it's nicer there than in her area.
Edit: Thanks everyone for the suggestions. So far it's looking like New Brunsick is the best bet. She says Somerville will be too long for me to reach. (I have no clue how long the drive is from where she'd pick me up, but I'm not going to argue before our second date).
Her favorite food is Thai but the Thai selections don't seem fantastic. Also, she doesn't seem to be able to handle grain alcohols so sake may be our best option (of course now I have to consider the fact that she has to drive home...hmmm). Anyway, I'm kind of leaning to sushi. If you guys have specific suggestions I'd love to hear them. I'm willing to pay a decent price for good sushi so unless we're talking Masa prices, I'm good. Indian would also be a great option.
